Canon EOS 40D, finally real

July 18th, 2007 | by Arun Mani |

It looks like the much rumoured and long-awaited Canon 40D DSLR camera, successor to the popular EOS 30D model, may finally be arriving. None other than the Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA) has spilled the beans by listing the Canon 40D on it’s PictBridge-certified product page, which was last updated yesterday. There’s obviously no specs or pictures yet. Will update soon on that. But definitely, a better 30D.

Hey, What do think the price of this camera would be?? Will that be an affordable deal??

I am able to easily guess the cost would be $1300-$1400 including the lens if it comes with the DIGIC II image processor. If they are upgrading it to DIGIC III then definitely you need to shell out a few more Franklins.
